Cable and Connectors
A cable assembly is the composition of one or more electrical cables and their corresponding connectors. A cable assembly is not necessarily suitable for connecting two devices but can be a partial product (e.g. to be soldered onto a printed circuit board with a connector mounted to the housing). Cable assemblies can also take the form of a cable tree or cable harness, used to connect many terminals together.
Compressors
HVAC Compressors: A compressor is known to be one of the most important parts of an air conditioning system. Any central Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning system that cools or heats uses a compressor. A compressor does just as the name suggests – it compresses the refrigerant to get it to the right pressure and temperature before it passes through the condenser coil. If your compressor fails, your HVAC equipment will not be able to effectively make your house comfortable.
Controls
A control module is a collection of basic control logic, sensors, actuators, control modules, and associated processing equipment that is operated as a single entity. CMs where the real work is done, in the form of basic control. They only execute basic control, minimal coordination control and perform no procedural control functions.
Electrical Components
Circuits are controlled by a switchgear / electrical components which are assembled so that the circuit may be operated safely under normal conditions, isolated automatically under fault conditions, or isolated manually for safe maintenance. These requirements are met by good workmanship and the installation of proper materials such as:
Filters
A device or a mass of material (as sand or paper) with tiny openings through which a gas or liquid is passed to remove something.
The filter is sometimes also referred to as a strainer. It is critical that these particles are filtered out and prevented from going into the metering device. It can cause blockage to the passage flow of the refrigerant in the expansion valve and cause improper operation to the system.
